Purpose of the Project: From a “Transit Point” to an “Interaction Hub” for the Hakuba Station Area

Hakuba Village is known as one of the world’s leading mountain resorts, where visitors can enjoy activities every season, such as winter with its high-quality powder snow and summer with its beautiful greenery. The area in front of Hakuba Station, its gateway, is an important area for welcoming guests from all over the world. Sakura Fudousan is promoting this project to evolve this station area from a mere “transit point to a destination” into an “interaction hub where people gather and can experience the culture of Hakuba.”

Introduction of Major Tenants: “Burton” and “7-Eleven” to open!

It has been decided that the world-class snowboard company “Burton” and the convenience store “7-Eleven,” which supports regional convenience, will open on the first floor of this building.

• バートン “Burton,” which leads the world’s snowboarding scene, will establish a new base in front of Hakuba Station. In addition to providing snowboarding items, it will also play a role as a community base for enjoying the fields of Hakuba in all seasons.
• 7-Eleven As infrastructure to improve regional convenience, a 24-hour (planned) “7-Eleven” will make its long-awaited opening in front of Hakuba Station. By enabling shopping and ATM use at night and early in the morning, it will make the lives of local residents and the stays of tourists even more comfortable.

Future Outlook: Planning an in-house hotel and a cafe attached to the store

We also plan to develop a hotel operated by Sakura Fudousan within this building. Additionally, a cafe attached to the first-floor store is also being planned.
